Our Mission & Vision
Our vision
It is our vision to see the true Church Of Jesus Christ established in Tallahassee, Florida and The surrounding areas; in such a way that the Gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (Matt 16:18) “Built upon the foundation of The Apostles and the Prophets, Jesus being The Chief Cornerstone.” (Eph 2:20; 4:11-12) A Church that is truly led by the dictates of the holy spirit; and values truth above all things. A place that teaches all how to love one another the way Jesus have loved us. (John 13:34) Where the true signs of belivers shall manifest. (Mark 16:17-18) Such as: Casting out devils, speaking in toungs, healing the sick, laying on of hands, prophecy, and all the gifts, miracles and fruits of the spirit shall be realized. (Gal: 5:22) A dwelling place for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (Matt 8:20)
Mission & Purpose
Our Mission is to deliver souls with the TRUTH of God’s words, in Love. (Eph 4:15) through the revelations that comes from above. To share God’s amazing Love, which shall open and free the hearts and minds of all that hear. (John 12:32) To strengthen the brotherhood that fight daily on this battlefield, by providing a place of fellowship and refuge; and to contend for the souls of all who are lost, by unrelenting, effectual, fervent, prayer. (James 5:16) (Matt 21:13); and by effectivelly promoting, and using every gift bestowed upon this house of God, that the body of Jesus may be lifted up, to the edifying of itself in Love. (Eph 4:16 To keep our Hope and Faith Strong in the fact that no soul should be left behind. ( Matt 18:12) To provide an opportunity for all to be supernaturally transformed into effective disciples for the Kingdom of God.
OUR BELIEFS & VALUES
The Scriptures:
The Bible is the Inspired word of God. The product of Holy men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. The New Covenant, as recorded In the New Testament, we accept as our infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct, and doctrines (2 Tim 3:16; 1 Thess. 2:13; 2Peter 1:21)
The Godhead:
Our God is one, but manifested in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, all; Co-Equal {Phi\ 2:6) God the Father is greater than all; the sender of the Word (Logos) and the Begotten (John 14:28); John 16:28); John 1:44) The Son is the Word flesh-covered, the one Begotten, and has existed with the Father from the beginning (John 1:1; John 1:18; John 1:44) The Holy Spirit proceeds forth from both the Father and the Son and is eternal (John 15: 26)
Man, His Fall And Redemption:
Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin came into the world. “All have sinned, and fallen short of the Glory of God.” As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one.” Jesus Christ, The Son of God, was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil, and gave his life and shed HIS Bood to redeem and restore man back to God (Rom 5: 14; Rom 3:23; 1 John 3:8) Salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from physical works and law, and is made operative (Ready for use) by Grace through Repentance, and Faith in Jesus Christ, producing Spiritual works acceptable to God (Eph 2:8; Luke 13:3; Matt 4:17) Salvation is a free gi given to all, BUT MUST be received through repenting and returning to God in order to be delivered from sin, and it’s dominion and return to God.
Eternal Life and The New Birth:
Baptism in water is by emission, is a direct commandment of our Lord, and is for believers ONLY. The ordinance is a symbol of the Christian’s identification with Christ in the death, burial, and resurrection (Matt 28:19; Rom 6:4; Col 2: 12; Acts 8: 36-38) The following recommendation regarding the water baptismal formula is adopted to with: “On the confession of your Faith in the; Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and by his authority, I baptize you In the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost, Amen . “We believe that Jesus is the only way to the father and there is no other way to come (John 14:6) “Jesus saith unto him, l am the way, the truth, and the Life: No man cometh unto the Father, BUT by me.” (Acts 2:21; Acts 4:12)
Sanctification:
The Bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord. We believe in the Doctrine of Sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of Grace, commencing at the time of rebirth and continuing until consummation of Salvation of Christ’s return (Heb 12:14; 1 Thess 5:23; 2 Peter 3:18; 2 Cor 3:18; Phil 3:12-14; 1 Cor 1:30)
Divine Healing:
Healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God through, prayer, and Faith, and the laying on of hands. Divine healing can also be manifested in Spiritual healing as well, through the delivering of our souls by the truth of God’s words, which sets us free. (John 8:31-32 Ezek 33:9) It is provided for in the atonement of Christ, and is the privilege of every member of the church today. (Mark 16:18; James 5:14-25; 1 Peter 2:24; Matt 8:17; Isa 53:4-5)
Love:
Love is always the first sign that says Jesus ls within a person, or place (1 John 4:8) Without Love there can be no Jesus (1 John 4:12) The foundation of our Faith and our Salvation is built on Love (John 3:16) We value Love overall, becasue Jesus Values Love over all ( 1 Cor 13:13) There can be no good coming from any works or gifts of the spirit without Love (1 Cor 13:14; 13:8) :ove NEVER fails (1 Cor 13:8) And if we really Love Jesus, his love will show us how to love one another (Matt 22:37-40)
Repentance:
Repentance is the ONY way to accept the gift of Grace to Salvation. Repentamce IS the bridge that restores belivers back to God. We do NOT belive in the statement, once saved, always saved. We belive if Grace isn’t recived through repentance there is no more Sacrifice for sin, and you have fallen from Grace (Gal 5:4-5 Heb 10:26-31) True Repentance allows us to accept the ultimate sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on the Cross. The first thing Jesus said when his Ministry began was: “REPENT ys: For the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matt 3:2) Repentance doesn’t merely mean to feel sorrow for our transgressions, BUT, through sorrow and conviction to TURN away from them (John 8:11) Luke 13:5) Since we all have sinned, and fallen short of the Glory of God; (Rom 3:23) what as the children of God makes us any diffrent from the world and the children of disobedience? (devil) ANSWER: Repentance.
